National Leadership Academy

The PSA National Leadership Academy division is located at our corporate headquarters. The main function of this division is to create all training that the company uses. The training that is offered is in leadership, communication, and team building. Conferences are held to train future leaders to use their skills to change their communities in a positive and effective manner.

During a typical conference, students undergo several training activities to include:

·	Leadership training

·	Communication training

·	Team building training

·	Community involvement training

Each chapter is asked to pick a project from a list that we provide and create a plan to change that problem using the training that they receive at our conferences.

The four main conferences we hold each year are: The annual PSA National Leadership Accedmy, We can make a difference conference, the FLAA annual conference, and LSAT conference.

The Training & Development is in charge of creating and publishing curriculum for Social studied and Law.

The PSA National Leadership Academy is now seeking schools who wish to be part of the 2008 - 2009 National Leadership Academy competition. This competition is open to all high schools in the United States. We will pick one from each state to be part of this years competition. Each team is asked to develop a hypothetical project to lower or increase the six areas we are focusing on this year. Each team will submit a power point presentation giving an extensive presentation on the project that they create. Schools who are interested need to fill out a form and email it to us and we will send them all the information.

This years topic we are working on are:

·	Lowering Teenage Pregnancy

·	Lowering Teen Age Drinking and Driving

·	Lowering Racism

·	Lowering gang violence

·	Increasing voting in the age group of 18 to 30
