Chad graduated from New Mexico State University with a BA in Government and a minor in history. His specialty was in contemporary politics and Latin America politics. After graduating he was a federal agent and restaurant manager before becoming a high school teacher. He has been a high school teacher for the last 9 years. As a high school teacher he has taught US History, World History, Government, and Economics. He began is political involvement working on several campaigns in the El Paso area from local to national level. He is currently the Vice Presided for the El Paso ATPE. While a member of ATPE he has worked with the lobbying division on helping keep members informed and talk to key legislative people from the El Paso area.
